I think this montage speaks for itself...
I started being a South Park fan in August 2015, just before season 19 began. I watched most of the serie's episodes, and I loved all the seasons, the 18th one included.
Then the season 19 got aired... And I was a bit dissapointed. It's not a horrible season, but... It's lower than all the previous ones. So I deeply wanted them to be the old South Park again in the future. I wanted Trey and Matt to make their show enjoyable again. But they didn't. Season 20 was... atrocious. I hated every episode of it. And since the name of the last episode was "The end of serialization as we know it", I thought season 21 was gonna be old SP again. In fact, it HAD to be old SP again, or else, I would stop following the series. And -what a surprise- It didn't get any better. Maybe season 21 was less serious, but it wasn't funnier neither. In fact it was BORING. It's actually... Not the same South Park. No matter how much these two SP are similar, they are not the same at all. The real South Park that I know is a funny series that always gives us a reason to laugh and that criticizes the problems of our society with humor, not a thriller series with no laugh at all like Prison Break! Really, it's just like Trey Parker made an Order 66 to destroy the original South Park, like Palpatine who ordered to destroy the Jedis. And so this idea popped up in my mind.
Garri-Trump: Don't get me wrong; I hate Trump. So having him being parodied in South Park is not a bad idea. See how great he was parodied in "Where my country gone?" From season 19. But in season 20 (and 21), he was parodied in a really bad way; they turned Garrison into Trump right after he got elected (though, it could be excusable since they were certain that Hillary was gonna be elected) and none, I said NONE of his appearances was any funny. It was a bunch of boringness and cringe. And the cringiest moment was when he parodied "IT" with Tweek as the victim. Pennywise must be hurt... So I just say: BARACK, COME BACK!
Girls breaking up: WAIT, HERE ME OUT BEFORE CALLING ME A STENDY FANBOY! I hated this plot and this war, but not because of the reason you might think about. It's not because I think South Park is a romance show, it's not because I like Stendy, it's because the girls acted like this with an odd reason. Breaking up with their boyfriends, just because they think Cartman was Skankhunt42 (oh, and this trolling plot, it's just because of the growing popularity of trolls just like Nazibitch Madison or Wannabeatrain Sean, isn't it?) and almost made Heidi suicide, c'mon, why would your boyfriend be responsible of this crap?! It's just like Lex Luthor who dislikes Superman without any reason in Batman v Superman.
Member berries: Oh god... After Minions from Despicable Me, Lemmings from Norm of the North, Gingers from Brave, and Scrat from Ice Age, South Park has their own annoying testicles as well! I have no problem with remembering, just... hearing them saying "member" all the time, in the beginning it's not too bad but 10 minutes after it becomes really, really annoying.
Fractured But Whole: Because of bad seasons 20 and 21, I thought TFBW was gonna be a bad game... But fortunately it's not. It's even greater than TSOT.
Heidi X Cartman: I'm really negative neutral on that ship. Some of you might say that Cartman with a girlfriend is not Cartman or something like this... I don't agree. I have no problem with girls crushing on Cartman, as such canon characters as OCs, crushing on Cartman, as long as they have a fitting personality. Heidi didn't have a fitting personality to be with Cartman in season 20. It was better in season 21 since Heidi became fat like him *coughtanzercough* but still, it wasn't interesting or funny. Speaking of that, I knew Cartman was dumb, but I didn't realize he was THAT MUCH. He says Heidi is funny, but did you guys hear her saying ANYTHING FUNNY? Cuz I didn't.
Kim-Jong Un: I kinda liked the mock of Kim Jong Dong, but seriously, why can't Trey and Matt stop treating Politics in SP?!
Lennart Bedrager: Another bad character whose ambitions are based on a dumb reason. I don't know what to say about him. He's like the Ajit Pai of South Park, except he's Danish (btw, where are the canadian mouths of Danish people gone?). Plus, what the fuck is that dance he did? Even Vegeta's bingo dance from DBZ Battle of gods was better!
Tweek X Craig: Personaly, I had no real problem with that ship in season 19. I thought it wasn't gonna be used that much in the future. But then when it began to be present more and more, I started disliking them. And as
said, they are two 10 years old boys who were forced to be in a relationship, and in "Put it down", Trey and Matt did a fan service, that's why they call each other "babe" and "honey". I have no problem if you like that ship, but please calm down and don't be a fanboy jerk like Ric122.
Caitlyn Jenner: Look, I have no problem with depicting celebrities as dumbasses, like Paris Hilton, but why did Trey and Matt made of her a recurring character of season 19 and 20? I don't dislike Caitlyn Jenner, but I think we don't need to see a celebrity that much in a show like SP.
Hey, it's only my opinion. I respect yours if you respect mine
